Mayo Clinic in Rochester has claimed the No. 1 spot in four out of six medical specialties in Newsweek’s “America’s Best Hospitals for Specialized Care 2025″—more than any other hospital.
The prestigious rankings placed Mayo Clinic in Rochester as the national leader in cardiac, endocrine, neurological, and pulmonary care. It also secured No. 2 in orthopedics and No. 3 in cancer care, making it the only hospital to rank in the top three across all six specialties.

Mayo Clinic in Arizona ranked #1 in its state for all six specialties.
Mayo Clinic in Florida led its state in five specialties, including cardiac, endocrine, and neurological care.
Mayo Clinic Health System hospitals in Eau Claire and La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Mankato, Minnesota, were recognized, with Eau Claire ranking #1 in Wisconsin for cardiac, endocrine, and pulmonary care.
Newsweek’s 2025 list highlights the top 200 hospitals for cancer, cardiac, neurological, and orthopedic care, along with the top 175 for endocrine and pulmonary care.
